Skating at Dumfries Ice Bowl
P4/5/6 are learning to ice skate. For the next four weeks the class are going to travel to Dumfries with friends from Kells and Carsphairn schools to take skating lessons. Here you can see how the first visit went, the class (mostly) managed to stay on their feet and are looking forward to going back next week.

I realy enjoyed going ice skating It was my first time because I didn’t go the first week, I did really well I think.

It was really fun because it was really tricky to stay balanced and not fall over and I hope it’s just as good next week.

I really like going to the ice bowl. I love skating and going fast on my skates.

I think it was great fun and a think it was a really good experience I was nervous at first but now I feel great on the ice.

I really enjoyed ice scating and I think I’ve finally got the hang of it.

I enjoyed ice skating. the first week we went I was a bit scared but the second week I felt confident enough to go into the middle.

Ice skating is cool- literally. We like going to the Ice Bowl, thanks Mr Simpson for letting us go.

The first time I went on the ice it was fun because it’s just like roller skating

I think that Josh was nice at the the ice bowl because he helped people up when they were hurt.
