Wednesday Afternoon Activities
As if coming to Dalry School wasn’t enough fun already we have now introduced Wednesday Afternoon Activities. Everyone in the Primary was given the choice of six different activities: cookery, drama, dancing, photography, golf and craft. All the activities have a Scottish theme in line with the year of Homecoming. Thanks to our parent helpers who have volunteered to join in the fun.

I really enjoyed cooking because we made highland shortbread, we had to pour flour into our bowls, then we added sugar, next we got margarine and we cubed it, we mixed it all up and made the dough, we put it into a ball and made a sausage shape and cut it up into slices, after that we were given a brush and a bowl of milk and covered it in sugar, then we put it in the oven, finally we ate them, yum!
