Every Wednesday S4 pupils come to our class to read with our pupils. as you can see from the photographs primary and secondary pupils are working very well together.
Lewis won this award for good sportsmanship playing hockey at his sports club.

P6 are learning yet another new talent, bowling. Here they are at lesson number one. Thanks to Hamish and Dalry Bowling club for all their help.
Training for Dalry football team has begun again, as you can see we have a talented bunch to choose from. Good luck to everyone.

P4/5/6 are learning to ice skate. For the next four weeks the class are going to travel to Dumfries with friends from Kells and Carsphairn schools to take skating lessons. Here you can see how the first visit went, the class (mostly) managed to stay on their feet and are looking forward to going back next week.
Ellen gained this award in the summer holidays from the library. She had to read three books, easy work for the school’s star reader. Well done Ellen. Sabrina won THREE prizes at the Glenkens show for poetry, making a vegetable animal and growing lettuce, fantastic work Sabrina.
The representatives from P4/5/6 for the pupil council are Ruth and Sabrina, and for the Eco Committee are Taylor and Callum. All four pupils spoke well in election speeches and gained their places in a close competition between very strong candidates. Well done to everyone who also stood for election.
P4/5/6 visited Kells Primary to have fun and take part in a problem solving and team building afternoon. Everyone had a great time completing the different tasks. Thanks to Mrs Devine and everyone at Kells School for a super afternoon.
